Think I’ll write the blues,
Mama’s gone, kitchens empty,
Ain’t no co’nbread, I’m da fool.

Think I’ll write some country,
Git some liquor, drink it down,
She wuz tired of cheatin’, I’m in mis’ry,.

Think I’ll write some jazz now,
Baby’s gone, so home alone,
Scooby dooby bee bop bow.

Think I’ll write some pop song,
Lost in this great big lonely town
Girl please love me, hear my moan.

All sounds the same, think I’ll stop now,
Lost at love, sad hearts all around.
