Patience, that doth our Hope demand,
Like slow deep long breaths unto the inner man.
With patience we hold seeds of faith within our grasp so sound,
Until we feel it’s time to plant within Hope’s sacred ground.
With patience we then wait for rain and pray the sun to shine,
So seeds of faith may break the crust and make an upward climb.
In patience we then hope and wait until the kernels form,
And hope and wait as life within the kernels ripen norm.
With haste we then lay forth the blade,
the harvest will not wait;
We reap the grain sweet Hope has made
from Faith wherein we laid.
Then, In patience we through winter wait as the circle so completes;
We dry the seeds for next year’s crop while winter’s bread we eat.
